Flight Period(s): There is one early summer flight. In Nebraska it has been found from 28 May – 25 June. |
Range: The Arrowhead Blue is found in western North America from southern Alberta and British Columbia south into northern New Mexico and Arizona and southern California. In Nebraska it is restricted to the canyonlands of Sioux County in the northwest corner of the state. |
Larval Hostplant(s): Silvery Lupine (Lupinus argentis) and Milkvetches (Astragalus species) |
Overwinter: As pupae |
Commentary/Habitat: The Arrowhead Blue has been found along streamsides and in moister areas in Pine Ridge canyons. |
