Range: The Leda Ministreak is a resident in portions of Nevada, California, Arizona, New Mexico and western Texas, south into Mexico. |
Larval Hostplant(s): Mesquite relative Prosopis juliflora, which is not found anywhere near Nebraska. |
Overwinter: This species does not overwinter in Nebraska. |
Commentary/Habitat: On 24 June 1989 Jim Reiser captured a stray from a dogbane flower in the road ditch along State Highway 2 in Sheridan County. This is an amazing find, as the next closest record is from the Texas panhandle. It should not be expected again. |
