Range: Can be found in most of the United States east of the Rocky Mountains. It occupies appropriate habitats in the western half of Nebraska, but has also been found in the Missouri River bluffs along the state’s eastern edge. |

Overwinter: As a full grown caterpillar |
Commentary/Habitat: The Dusted Skipper inhabits mixed grass and sandhills prairies in Nebraska, where adults have been observed taking nectar from puccoon and Platte thistle flowers. This species is common to abundant at Nebraska National Forest at Halsey, Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge and the Niobrara Valley Preserve. |
