Flight Period(s): The Zebra Swallowtail is triple brooded in Nebraska where it has been found from 4 May – 15 August. Adults fly in late April to early May, again in mid June to early July and then again in mid August. |
Range: This species range is from southeastern United States north to Pennslyvania and west to Louisiana and eastern Nebraska. In Nebraska it can be found along the eastern edge of the state north to Cuming County. |

Overwinter: As pupae |
Commentary/Habitat: The Zebra Swallowtail is found in forest openings and woodland margins where its hostplant grows as an understory plant. It is common at Indian Cave State Park (Nemaha and Richardson counties) and in other wooded bluffs along the Missouri River. |
