Range: The Barred Yellow is a resident from Argentina to Mexico and extreme southern portions of Florida and Texas. It occasionally strays north as far as South Dakota. |

Overwinter: This species does not overwinter in Nebraska. |
Commentary/Habitat: Eurema daira occupies open areas and forest edges in its home range. The Nebraska specimen was found between 1972 and 1986, but specific details are unclear. |
Similar Species: Dainty Sulphur (Nathalis iole) is smaller, and the Little Yellow (Eurema lisa) lacks the black bar at the base of the dorsal forewing. |
